I am sorry to read so many bad exp with this particular seller.
Don’t let it get away with bad practises. In my experience with OTHER sites:
a- If you paid with paypal, you file a claim with paypal, and you will get the money back from paypal, unless they can provide proof that the product arrived.
b- If you paid with a credit card, you call your credit card customer service and reverse the transaction. My HSBC bank has been very good in the couple of occassions I had to reverse a transaction, and being honest, the second time was not necessary as the seller refunded all the money. But if things come to worst you can always do that.
I mostly use Alibabaexpress, and never had a problem. If the item does not arrives at the deadline, the site (the umbrella site for all the sellers) refunds the money back.
A couple of times bought from fraudalent sellers, and again, the site refunded me all the money (that is the time that my credit card company put my transaction on hold).
I have probably bought about 100 items now.
Never ordered from this site. Just wanted to let everyone know the products are clones 1.1 which can be found on dhgate. Shipping they use on gearbest is the lowest shipping China post air. Items don’t last but you get you get what you pay cheap plastic.

I have used Gearbest a few time’s now and I am very satisfied with this company,People saying they didn’t know they we’re in China (try looking @ about us at the bottom of their page)Can’t believe you will hand over any money without knowing anything about the company -on any website!!
Anyway where was I–oh yeah, their prices are very good,decent merchandise,free shipping, Great Customer Support. What you have to realise yes they are in China and when the good’s are despatched it is up to the Shipper to make sure you get your order.

I had the worst possible experience with Gearbest. I ordered a quadcopter drone which took over a month to arrive…. broken. Yup… right out of the box with a bad controller board.
I immediately emailed them and hence started getting the standard form letter reply. It took a couple of emails to simply get them to understand my item was DOA when i got it. I cant begin to tell you how frustrating the back and forth has been with Gearbest. there product arrived defective and they want me to pay for shipping back to china on it! and then wait another month and hope i get a good product. shipping alone would almost be the cost of what i paid for it!!!
At one point I was told I would get $100usd credit; of course i was leary of this but i jumped on it and agreed to the terms. I waited and waited… nothing. After three emails and no response i started a new ticket crying for help from someone…. anyone !! They pretty much blew me off and im still waiting.
Its so maddening when you get ripped off like that and feel helpless. Im still emailing them hoping they will get tired. i even told them to just mail me a new controller board and i would install it myself. anything… something.!!geez. Its only fifty bucks but then again; fifty bucks is fifty bucks.
Sad thing is ive ordered from them twice before but i guess they dont care about repeat customers. My advice would be make sure you dont order anything electronic because if its broke, chances are youre screwed!

made a couple of purchases from them and received items in 10 to 12 days, all went great. Then bought a smart watch that was misrepresented and not working properly. Filed ticket , got pre written statements back and then they all disappeared from e-mail in a couple of days( make copies right away).Can’t find an address to send back so sending back to address on package. Called pay-pal and filed a complain. Customer support is awful. Through with them. Hope I get my money back by pay-pal!

I bought several items from Gearebest and I was greatly satisified. I had few troubles which were soon resolved by the team. My experience with Gearbest is very positive and I’ll surely buy again with confidence and I invite also all people to do the same.
I have purchased a number items from GearBest with great results. I currently reside in the US and checked the free shipping tab. Yes, it took quite a few days to get here, but you cannot expect to receive it next day air when it is free shipping. Due to great prices, cool gadgets, and free shipping I will be purchasing from them again.
I took the risk with these guys on a pre-order of a Goblin mini atomizer and they have been good. Everything I’ve ordered has arrived and been as described. I’ve only ordered vaping supplies, temp control mods, atomizers etc, but have had no problem and been very happy with the quality.
If you use the slowest postal option it can take up to a month for goods to arrive, but I paid the extra $2.50 to use Australia post on more recent orders and have had my stuff inside two weeks.
Gearbest are a legitimate vendor in my opinion and provided you are prepared to wait a couple of weeks, offer very good pricing on some of their vaping supplies.

I have no idea how it happened, but this site captured my paypal information and made 16 fraudulent charges to my paypal account. if you are reading this and a similar situation happened to you, report the fraud to your bank and/or credit card company immediately.
there are commenters here claiming they used and received merchandise from gearbest.com. no way, that’s internet misinformation and propaganda. point is, these commenters are disingenuous fabrications, they aren’t real.
GearBest is the best shopping website that I’ve ever seen. The payment is securised, I can pay my orders with different payment methods, the customer service is very kind, everytime I contact them they answer me quickly. I’ve purchased many products from Gearbest and they have a good quality also the price is very low. I like the points system so I can get a reduction on my future orders without any issue! The shipping is very fast and the order package is very good. Finally I’m very proud of being a customer of GearBest!

It‘s sad to hear that some people had disappointed shopping in GearBest. Personally I can’t say anything wrong or bad about them and I really enjoy buying from them, many good deals, especially if you are looking for quality products from China and trying to compare prices on others sites, easy to use and what regarding shipping, yes, parcels delivered from China but terms I can‘t say worse compare to others. In short so far it is one of my favourites.
Personally i have had no problems with Gearbest. They have always been as straight as an arrow to me at least. The one occasion i did have a problem when an item was damaged in the post Gearbest made good on it and replaced the item without me having to send it back.Have had terrible problems dealing with other Chinese sites, especially one beginning with “A”. So will be continuing to deal with Gearbest from now on. How they sell some of the stuff so cheap i have no idea.
I was very pleased and happy with my recent Gearbest purchase. The item was delivered well packaged with a good tracking system and the postage was free!
