  3. Hello there people some people just so stupid like some people on here. you buy something online and u didn’t buy insurance? For something over $50 then i will buy insurance.I brought a $250usd phone on gearbest.com
    I received It on time with free shipping 10 to 25days and guess what insurance was only $6 that wasn’t that much and I think I know why some people don’t receive their product or it was damaged its coz with free shipping most of the time the post man just leaves it in the letter box coz they don’t need you to sign for it so I reckon some people are getting it stolen from their mail box or someone switching for damaged product my zte axon elite came like that luckily I checked my letter box early coz I had a feeling it was going to come in those days how can it be a scam I brought of them at least 6 or 7times and all got delivered on time and in good condition like some people on here. gearbest is free shipping on all products except if u wanted express shipping then yeah it will cost money.for standard shipping its free someone saying shipping cost $82 Canadian dollars people must really hate gearbest to talk shit about them they are a legit online shopping store

  7. In my working with GearBest.com, they are the same or rank up there with Everbuying.com, both are worthless and everyone needs to stay away from them. There communication is terrible, they do not know customer service and they like to patronize you with their silly, stupid and irritating company policy slogans!

    No one at GearBest.com has a clue to how to substantiate good customer service and company loyalty! Again, stay away from GearBest.com or you will be sorry . . all have NOW been properly warned!

  8. Do NOT buy from Gearbest. Repeat, do not buy from Gearbest. Terrible customer service. Terrible delivery, took 2 months and 15 days to get a $49.00 order. Inaccurate instructions to operate remote control car.

  9. Gearbest was horrible. It took over 2 months to receive a camera I brought. I think they pretty much didn’t ship until I disputed it via paypal. A separate order for the accessories for the camera still haven’t arrived. I don’t trust them at all.

  12. I wouldn’t buy anything from the crooks. I purchased a Teclast X70 Phablet from them. Cost with shipping $82 Canadian. When it arrived, suprise an additional $21 import fee. The item arrived damaged. After rediculously low refund offers PayPal has agreed to refund my purchase amount but I must pay return shipping with tracking. I’m sure that will be pricy. To be continued.

    Bought a $56 mobile phone, it died after 1 week. Offered a $10 credit to my GB wallet. I don’t think so!!

    PayPal refund BUT I have to send it back and that has cost $25, so I will be out of pocket.

    Bunch of crooks! You may be lucky and get something that works then you might not then good luck getting that sorted.

  14. Hi, Anybody that has problems with items paid for via Pay Pal should open a dispute on the Pay Pal site. All messages to the supplier should go through the Pay Pal site. If a satisfactory solution is not reached the dispute can be escalated for Pay Pal to adjudicate.

  15. I placed 2 orders over the past 2 weeks totalling over $400.
    1st order arrived and all is good minus using the expedited option only to find out it was with DHL Express thus brokerage fees of $50+ =|
    Second order shipped (all items chosen from China warehouse) and when they sent me the heads up I noticed one item was shipping from the Netherlands (quadcopter batteries – a week has past and it has not even been sent??) and the other package was missing 2 items, a smartband strap and my remote for the quadcopter I ordered. The parcel has since arrived and I am stuck with the quadcopter and no way to use it due to the remote not being shipped and no batteries!?
    So I checked their site and sure enough the watch band and remote are still showing in stock and yet they are telling me they are not and to wait 7-10 business days?
    Then they cited me their BS terms where it states their site may be delayed a day or two on stock but 10 days later no remote or band has been shipped and the site still shows them both in stock.
    They are selling people items they know they do not have and then just keeping the money and telling you to wait or choose something else…are they idiots??
    They SHOULD be offering a refund to those items being sold when not in stock.
    I will wait a while longer and then it may be Paypal time.

  16. I think Gearbest.com is a scam site.
    They always refund when I paid via Paypal (>10 times) and they always suggest me to pay via Western Union or Bank Transfer methods instead of Paypal after giving some unreasonable reasons. Only first time I can buy from them, but they delayed 15 days before sending the item.

Maybe there are a few out of hundreds that a pleased but the majority of the people I have hear about and from say quite the opposite as a victim of their idea of business I wholeheartedly agree. I am into them for near $70USD and have zero to show for except a broken item I do not want. I have since turned the matter over to my bank.

  18. So here is what’s going on with gearbest. (update for comment 8)

    A reminder, they sent me Just a keyboard and stylus, without the actual tablet (Imagine you order a car and I send you the wheels but the car is out of stock)…

    After I filed a dispute with PayPal, I had a more pragmatic guy to take care of my problems with gearbest (at least when it comes to words) but basically nothing happened, nothing at all, only stretching the time.
    Yesterday I was told that I will receive a full refund and today not any more, It seems like gearbest really really want my $387 without sending me the tablet.

    Can you believe it? they sent me a $20 refund… It’s been 16 days since I paid them $387, I have to waste half an hour a day conversing with them and I will not have the tablet any time soon, I tried to order another one as I was kind of told that they will give me a full refund, but they are just pulling me by the nose. for some reason gearbest.com are turning this into a battle although I was very fair, the are trying to exhaust me.

    tomorrow I will call paypal and start explaining to them about the situation, luckily I have everything carefully documented.

    What A nightmare, I only wanted to buy a tablet…
